
Meet Melanie
Melanie is a trusted mindfulness and meditation teacher and presenter. She has delivered impactful programming to businesses, educators, nonprofits, and spiritual seekers, and has been featured as a guest on podcasts and mental health webinars. Her work is often described as intentional, engaging, authentic, and warm, with clients praising her ability to make complex topics feel clear and accessible.
She holds an MA in Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, with a concentration in Spirituality and Mind-Body. While at Columbia, she contributed to Dr. Lisa Miller’s Spirituality and Psychology Lab, and before that, served as Lab Manager in the Imagination and Cognition Lab at The University of Texas at Austin. Her career began with nearly a decade in public education, first as a classroom educator, then in developing fine arts and character development programming for schools across Texas.
Melanie is a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and has trained with the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. She continues to deepen her practice through regular study with global teachers and residential Vipassana retreats.
